ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated marine engineer, with a good grounding in naval architecture, capable of offering support at all stages of the design process for various vessel types, from initial concept development through to vessel delivery.

Candidates should be familiar with the marine engineering role in such projects and have the ability to develop their competencies in at least two core areas.

The successful Candidate will be either based in our UK or Greek office, but will also be required to travel worldwide based on projects requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in machinery, electrical and auxiliary systems design to create well-designed and formulated solutions for our projects and clients

• Communicate effectively with Class and Flag authorities

• Participate in design developments for energy optimisation, industry decarbonisation, etc.

• Participate in design review meetings

• Ensure projects and scopes are carried out in accordance with client requirements

• Conduct research on new design solutions to meet future environmental requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS - Requirements

• Minimum BEng, preferably Master’s degree, or equivalent qualification, in marine engineering or similar.

• 5 years of technically related work experience in a relevant position.

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficiency with design software and office tools.

• Comfortable working within a multi-disciplinary team environment performing multiple tasks with critical concurrent deadlines.

• Ability to handle clients' requests in a professional and friendly manner.

• Knowledge of concept and prototype design.

• Ideally, passionate about vessel design and the maritime industry.
